Exterior

2021 Ford Bronco Exterior

The 2021 Ford Bronco is coming back after three decades and the best thing about the new model is that it will be built over a body-on-frame platform. The new model will be closely related to the next-generation Ford Ranger, which is about to come in the next year as well. However, the Bronco will feature a pretty distinctive styling.

It will come with boxy and quite rugged shape, as well as with a distinctive front face, which won’t have many things in common with the rest of Ford’s lineup. Another thing we should mention is that the new SUV will come in two versions, with either three or five doors.

Interior

This aspect of the 2021 Ford Bronco is still a bit of a mystery. Still, we have no doubt that the new cabin will be designed to provide excellent durability and a lot of opulence at the same time.

Once again, we presume that this model will be quite distinctive compared to the rest of the lineup. Also, keep in mind that both three- and five-door versions are about to come, so count on different specs in terms of legroom, cargo space and overall interior dimensions.

2021 Ford Bronco Engine

Under the hood, we presume that the base 2021 Ford Bronco will come with a familiar 2.3-liter turbo-four engine. It is the same unit that powers the current Ranger, which delivers around 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Such an output seems like a perfect measure for a vehicle like this.

Still, we are pretty sure that this won’t be the only engine in the offer. Various reports also suggest a hi-performance version, probably under the “Raptor” badge. Naturally, this one would feature a more powerful engine, probably a 2.7-liter V6, which is good for about 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. A diesel version is possible too.

2021 Ford Bronco Release Date and Price

As we already mentioned, the new 2021 Ford Bronco could have a premiere already in early 2020, at the Detroit Auto Show. The production model would arrive a couple of months later. When it comes to the price, we presume base models would go around $30,000.
