As you probably know, the Blue Oval company has recently introduced big novelties under the hood. There is an all-new gasoline engine, while the famous oil-burner gets a nice power and torque boost. This resulted in class-leading towing capacity and many other things. However, various reports are suggesting novelties for the 2021 Ford F-250 as well. The next-year model may come with visual updates, both outside and inside. Finally, new features are always welcome. Still, we don’t expect that this update will mean an earlier arrival than usual.
- Powerful and super-capable engines
- Class-leading towing capacity
- Intuitive infotainment system
- Ride can be firm sometimes
- Price jumps very fast
If the 2021 Ford F-250 is about to come with updates, we presume that most of the changes will come to the exterior. We would see a couple of tweaks at the front, but these changes would probably be very subtle. Slightly revised headlights and grille are pretty much everything we could expect.
Still, there is always a chance to see some new optional package which includes not just more standard equipment, but unique styling details as well. Finally, we could see a couple of new color options in the offer.
The interior of the 2021 Ford F-250 will probably remain the same. The current model looks more than okay in this aspect. Of course, it’s not as classy as the cabin of Ram 2500, but it looks decent. More importantly, it features all the essentials.
You may count on an intuitive infotainment system, as well as on all other kinds of tech features. Higher trims even deliver a little bit of luxury, as there are things like leather upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated seats, 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, and many other conveniences.
The 2020 model year has brought some significant novelties under the hood. First of all, there is a new gasoline engine. It is a 7.3-liter V8 unit, nicknamed Godzilla. With this engine, you can count on 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, which are class-leading numbers, when it comes to gasoline engines.
The famous 6.6-liter turbodiesel also came with notable upgrades. A max output now goes all away up to 475 horsepower and impressive 1.050 pound-feet of torque. We are still waiting for the exact numbers when it comes to towing capacity, but we think that class-leading ratings are pretty much a certain thing.
2021 Ford F-250 Release Date and Price
We don’t expect bigger surprises when it comes to releasing date and price. The 2021 Ford F-250 should hit the market sometime late in the next year with the base price around $34,000.
